FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Radical Waters’ ECA Technology to be widely distributed in Latin America – 30 March 2011
Radical Waters International has signed a distribution agreement with Anasac, a publicly listed Chilean-based multinational company, with operations throughout Latin America. In terms of the agreement, Anasac has exclusive distribution rights for Radical Waters’ Electrical Chemical Activation (ECA technology) in Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, Uruguay and Colombia. In addition, it has exclusive distribution rights for the beverage sector in Brazil. Anasac has established a subsidiary company, RW Latin America, to grow this business.
Derik du Plessis (pictured left), general manager of RW Latin America, became familiar with Radical Waters’ ECA technology and identified an opportunity for Anasac to become an exclusive distributor for Radical Waters in Latin America.
“There is a definite need for ECA technology in the countries where we are active. We have been received with great interest when presenting the Radical Waters technology to substantial users of chemicals and are pleased with the progress we have made in securing commitments for orders” says Du Plessis.
“In the past two years we have increased our sales footprint by over 500%”, says Carla Fiford, Radical Waters’ Managing Director. “We now have over 60 successful installations on six continents, in 21 countries, mostly for blue chip companies. Our goal now is to maintain close contact with our customers and to deliver quality local service.”
The agreement with Anasac will contribute substantially to meeting that objective in Latin America. Furthermore, Radical Waters is increasing its commitment to research and development which is likely to increase the benefits of our technology for our customers, adds Fiford.

ECA has become a topic of great interest for leading beverage and food companies as the “new alternative technology”. Radical Waters’ environmentally friendly “green” solutions are an effective substitute for chemical cleaning-in-place (CIP). Plants using Radical Waters (ECA) technology repeatedly report substantial cost savings due to increased production time and reduced energy, chemical and water usage.
Radical Waters is actively seeking qualified distributors for its ECA technology in other markets.
