The core business is focused on the development and commercial exploitation of the ECA technology through a range of applications which offer a naturally safe, environmentally friendly and cost effective alternative to traditional chemicals. Additionally, the company promotes further research and to refine the technology and its applications whilst further enhancing the Intellectual Property portfolio. The key to the business is the customization of the application of the ECA technology to a given customer's needs. This involves not only conducting specialised laboratory trials to determine how the solutions will work to eliminate the microbial contamination or clean a particular environment, but also includes devising specialized methods of applying the solutions in a manner appropriate to a customer's unique operational processes.

How does it work?

The human body has a remarkable internal defence mechanism that is dependent upon the interaction between white blood cells, sodium-chloride and water. As a wholly natural process, when the body is exposed to invading microbes, the immune system will respond by attracting an increased number of specialized white blood cells (e.g. Neutrophils) to the invasion site. At this site, these cells immobilise the microbe through the conversion of salt (NaCl) and water to Hypochlorous Acid or HOCl.

HOCl is acknowledged to be the most potent natural disinfectant, yet it is safe and non-toxic to humans, highly effective against all microbes and is quick acting. As with the Neutrophil, the Radical Waters technology can replicate the generation of HOCl from salt, water and electricity. By using the specially designed and controlled production systems, Radical Waters is able to produce HOCl of the highest quality and performance efficacy, litre after litre. Anolyte is an environmentally-responsible alternative to traditional disinfection and has been shown to be highly efficacious for the control of bacteria, fungus, mold, spores and other micro-organisms, in very short contact times. It may be applied as liquid, fog or ice.
